Instantly recognisable, Wells’ quirky and colourful beach huts feature on many a painting and postcard, but the best view by far is the other way of the sand, sea and sky from a beach hut balcony first thing in the morning on a fresh new day, or at the end of a memorable long day as the sun sets spectacularly over Holkham bay.

Most of the beach huts are in private ownership but a limited number are available to hire through Pinewoods on a daily or weekly basis. Adding a beach hut to your holiday, even for just one day, gives you a perfect base for a day on the beach. children love them and, if you can keep them out, there’s no better place to sit and keep an eye on them while you relax. They provide a quiet and private area if that’s what you need and are just the thing for a little shelter on those not so sunny days!
