Our award-winning loos!

As you may know, sustainability is an important core belief of ours and we strive across all Holkham businesses to implement sustainable practices where we can. Therefore, we’re very proud to announce our two new awards from the Loo of the Year Awards 2022 for the Pinewoods Touring Park toilets: Eco Toilet of the Year Award and the Platinum-Graded toilets award.

What helps to make a loo ‘eco-friendly’ you ask? Well, we have a selection of energy and water-saving facilities within our touring park toilets. Our lighting, heating and hand-dryers are all made with energy-saving technology, and our taps, WC flushing and urinal flushing also have water-saving components! Not to mention that our loo roll and paper towels are also made from recycled materials.

We think it’s important to shout about these achievements, as they’re of high importance in the present day and can set a precedent for living more sustainably. A big thank you and congratulations to the Pinewoods team for being a part of this process and making it happen, and another big thank you to our visitors who have praised the team for our new loos!
