Holkham

Holkham, with its majestic Palladian Hall, Walled Garden, activities, events and acres of parkland to explore, is a must see and do on your visit to North Norfolk.

We are proud to be one of Holkham’s family of businesses. Holkham has a vision to be the UK’s most pioneering and sustainable rural estate and everything we do is anchored and driven by this vision, our five ambitions and five great Holkham behaviours. Not only does this make Holkham, and Pinewoods, a great place to work, but also an amazing and welcoming place to visit and stay.

Holkham is located less than a five minute drive from Pinewoods, and easily cyclable (and even walkable for those with some gumption in their boots!).

On your doorstep is the 3000-acre Holkham Park, and at its epicentre is Holkham Hall – an 18th century Palladian Hall. Still the family home of the Coke family – today the 8th Earl and Countess of Leicester and their family – the hall is open to visitors on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays from March to October, and for special events in December.

Alongside the amazing parkland and Hall, is a magnificent Walled Garden, Holkham Stories Experience, High Ropes Course, Cycle Hire, and the Stables Courtyard Café and Gift Shop. Holkham also offers an exciting array of events throughout the year, as well as playing host to the most magical of weddings.

So, no matter whether you’re a budding historian, keen gardener or active walker, you’re sure to fall in love with Holkham.
