Situated right at the heart of the North Norfolk coast, Pinewoods Holiday Park has been welcoming holidaymakers and families for over 60 years.
Pinewoods strives for high standards across every area of the park, and are proud holders of the David Bellamy Conservation Gold Award.
Our picturesque site lies behind pine-topped sand-dunes at the edge of Wells beach, just a short walk (or miniature train ride) from the bustling historic port of Wells-next-the-Sea.
Pinewoods offers a wide range of holiday lodges and static caravans for private sale or rent, as well as pitches for touring caravans and motor homes along with comprehensive and up-to-date facilities and a range of traditional holiday activities right on its doorstep as well as lots to do and visit close by.
Our on-site shop is well-stocked with provisions, groceries, cold-drinks and beers, wines and spirits. Opening times vary according to season and are displayed by the entrance door.
Our launderette has large washers and dryers visit reception for tokens.
Showers and toilet blocks
Modern facilities are located on the touring field.
Somewhere safe to let off steam and have a play. This play area is suitable for children under 16 years of age.
Just next to the park, we have our own railway station where the 10 ¼” gauge Wells Harbour Railway operates a regular service all season to the town. If you don’t fancy the train, it’s a mile walk along the scenic beach bank up to Wells’ famous quay.
Once open to the sea, Abraham’s Bosom is now a unique enclosed lagoon right in Pinewoods park.
Cycling and bike hire
Pinewoods is a great base for cycling. As well as miles of quiet country lanes (and not many hills) inland, Pinewoods sits right on the Wells and Holkham Circuit of National Cycle Network route 1. There’s also lots of off-road tracks for traffic free cycling. Bikes can be hired locally by the day or week if you can’t bring your own.
Beach Road café and shop
For ice creams, drinks and beach goods, visit our café and shop in the main beach car park. For more activities and attractions in the local area, see our local guide.
