On the hottest days, the breeziest days and the coolest days, it’s lovely to have a bit of shelter. A beach hut is also a place you can keep your things, whether picnic supplies, water bottles, sun cream, towels, a change of clothes, toys or games. If you want to go for a walk through the pines, along the dunes or to Wells Beach Café, you can simply lock up your hut and head off without an assortment of beach-time baggage.

You’ll have your own private spot to relax on, with stunning views over the sands. Sit back and keep a lookout on your children playing from the balcony.

No. To minimise the risk of fire, the use of barbecues, fires or stoves is prohibited on the beach, dunes, in the pinewoods and on the car park.

You are, of course, welcome to bring picnics and snacks, or why not visit Wells Beach Café for hot drinks, light lunches, pizzas, cakes and plenty more?

There are almost 200 beach huts on Wells Beach that stretch across the sands, with pine trees as a beautiful back drop.

No, you can’t, but our caravan holiday homes, luxury lodges and touring field are the closest accommodation options to Wells Beach, just a short walk away!

You can park at Beach Road Car Park – car parking charges apply. Please check the Holkham website for prices and opening times, and bear in mind that closing times will vary depending on the time of year and this may be before 9pm when the key is to be returned. The car park can get very busy at peak times. 

Coaches, caravans and trailers are prohibited in the Beach Road Car Park. No overnight parking. Holkham reserves the right to close this car park for estate management reasons.

If you are staying with us at Pinewoods, you’ll have parking by your caravan holiday home, lodge or touring pitch, and you can reach the beach on foot from here. Our Beach caravan holiday homes are the closest to the sand and sea.
